Circles is built on the idea that your life is yours to share — on your terms, with the people you choose. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the control you have over it.
What We Collect
- Account info — your name, email address, and profile photo when you sign up
- Content you post — photos, videos, captions, and reactions shared within your circles
- Usage data — how you interact with the app, to help us improve it
- Device info — device type and OS version for troubleshooting and compatibility
How We Use Your Data
- To run and improve the app
- To show your content to the people you've shared it with — and no one else
- To send you important notifications about your account
- To diagnose bugs and fix issues
What We Don't Do
We do not sell your data. We do not show you ads. We do not share your content with people outside your chosen circles. Your private life stays private.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted infrastructure providers (like cloud storage and analytics) to operate the app. They process data only as directed by us and are bound by strict confidentiality obligations.
Your Controls
- Edit or delete your profile at any time in the app
- Delete your account and all associated data from Settings
- Request a copy of your data by emailing us
Data Retention
When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymized usage data may be retained for product analytics.
Updates
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you in the app before they take effect.
