Child Safety Policy

Last updated: June 2025

The safety of children is non-negotiable. Circles has a zero-tolerance policy for any content or behavior that sexually exploits or endangers minors.

Prohibited Content and Behavior

  • Any content that depicts, promotes, or glorifies the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors
  • Explicit or suggestive material involving anyone under 18
  • Grooming behavior or attempts to establish inappropriate contact with minors
  • Any content that violates child protection laws, locally or internationally

How We Respond

Any account found to be in violation of this policy will be immediately suspended and permanently banned. We report all child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.

Reporting

If you encounter anything that may violate this policy, report it immediately using the in-app report feature or by emailing us. Reports are treated with the highest urgency.

For Parents and Guardians

Circles requires users to be at least 13 years old. We encourage parents to have open conversations with their children about online safety and to review their activity regularly. Our privacy-first design means content is only visible to people your child has explicitly connected with.
